— About

Started at mile 23.
Became a shirt at mile 26.2.
Now it's the most relatable thing in your closet.

MyLegsHurt started at mile 23 of the Chicago Marathon, when the founder realized the only honest thing left to say was: "my legs hurt."

Not a brave thing. Not a profound thing. Just the truth — yelled internally at the asphalt while the spectators yelled "you got this!" (We did not got this. Our legs hurt.)

Three months later, the words ended up on a shirt. The shirt ended up on every group run, every brunch, every awkward elevator ride the day after a race. Strangers nodded at strangers. Daughters bought it for dads. Pace groups bought it for their slowest member, lovingly.

Now it's a brand. Six shirts, one feeling, no apologies. Made when you order it. Shipped from the closest hub. Worn until the print fades — and then worn for two more years anyway.

The wall introduces itself.
M 26.2
